What Home Is To Me
Home is a place you can come to when you’re sad or happy. Or when you come back after a long day of school or work. Home is about love, hardships, and more. Home is a place you can always come back to when you got an A on your test or achieved something big.
Home looks like a beautiful sunset at golden hour. And my family waiting inside. Home looks like my family and friends laughing and talking.
Home feels like a warm blanket covered in love and feeling welcome when you walk inside. Home feels like getting showered with gifts on special occasions like my birthday, Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving.
Home smells like warm cookies coming out of the oven ready to eat. Or yummy food made from my parents. Home smells like paint when I paint with my mom.
Home sounds like laughter and talking from my family and friends, and my cat meowing. Home sounds like playing cards getting distributed between my family for a card game.
Home tastes like eating delicious food like Caesar salad from my mom and Korean barbeque chicken from my dad. And warm cookies coming out of the oven.
This is what home feels, sounds, tastes, and looks to me.
