What Home Means To Me
Home is not just a building with walls and a roof, it’s who's within it that matters.
My counter table where my mom taught me how to cook my first meal.
My bed where I cried out all my feelings, and where we would build forts.
My brother's bedroom where we would have sleepovers.
The dining table is the place where my whole family would play board games, puzzles,
and tell stories.
The living room is where we would watch scary movies, take pictures of the whole
family, and where I took my first steps.
The bathroom that before school my siblings would fight for who would use it first or
second.
The basement where my dad hung up a swing, and where my brother and I would play
and not clean up.
This is what home means to me.
