Home Is Where The Munden’s Are

In Canada there were 235 000 people that were homeless in 2023. Knowing that, it makes me even more grateful for my home. A home is not just some walls and beds it is more than that, it’s love, memories and more. To start my home is always warm and cozy because of the roaring fire, or because of the nice and cozy snuggles I get from my parents. Another reason is, having a comfortable warm bed makes me feel like home, because I very rarely go to sleep cold. Yet another reason why, is there is nothing like staying home on a cold day and snuggling up in a nice cozy blanket. It’s that kind of feeling that makes it feel cozy, makes it good to live here. To make a home you have to have love. First you will never know how special love is until you lose it. Another reason why love means home to me, is I feel loved the most when I am in my home. Love is to be shared not kept. Finally to me, without love you don’t have a good stable home. To love and to be loved is to feel the sun from both sides. Memories are a big part about my home because they will last forever. Having a good memory by my side, makes me feel awesome, and a big moment becomes a memory rather than a thought. Lastly, memories remind me of home because I always have a good memory to remember. In conclusion a home is not just walls and furniture it’s more than that. I hope this essay makes you more grateful for the little things. The more you practice the art of thankfulness, the more you have to be thankful for.
