What does home mean

There are so many homeless people on the streets, so that is why I am so happy to have a home and I am not on the streets. Here are some things that are the most important to me in my home such as my family, making memories, and playing sports. The first reason my house is a home is because of my family. My mom is really nice. She has to work a lot though and even though I do not see her too much I love her. My dad works from home so I see him a lot. He is the one who cooks. He is really nice as well and I love him. Next, my brother is nice to me, but he can be annoying just like any other sibling. He loves Fortnite, his phone, and his laptop just like most teenage boys. He is in grade 8. He spends most of his time in his room but I still love him. I count my pets as my family as well. Oreo is my dog and she is named after the cookie because she is black and white. She’s really funny and she thinks her reflection is another dog copying her. She barks at her reflection all the time. My cat kind of minds her own business, but now we can not leave stuff on the table because she will eat it. One time I left my pizza crust on the side and she was eating it. One time she got tooth surgery and she was not allowed to eat anything but she got into a leftover bit of pizza. It’s safe to say she loves pizza and we love her. The next thing that I love about my home is the memories I make with my family like playing board games, going out for breakfast and bringing home leftovers… t The last thing that makes home, home to me is sports. My family and I snowboard and I play lacrosse as well. If I did not play lacrosse then what would I do when I am bored? I like that my parents take me to all of my games so I’m active and not spending all of my time on technology. My family, making memories, and sports are the things that make me happy at home.
