It Feels Like Home to Me

Home doesn't have to be a house, it could be anywhere. For me it's where I feel safe and where I feel loved. It's where I can play and run in the sun. It's where I can laugh, it's where I can play. It's where I can feel the sun on my skin every single day. Home is where you can run, walk, jump and play. It's where you can play with your friends and where you can play with your dog or cat, brother or sister, mom or dad. Home is where I hear children laughing and having fun, it's where I hear all of the colorful birds chirping. Home is where I hear the dogs barking, it's where I hear the cats meowing. Home is where my family is. When I wake up to see my two dogs snuggling up to me, they never fail to put a smile on my face. When I go to the kitchen I see my mom working very very hard on my breakfast that always tastes amazing. I go out into the living room and see my dad happy to see me. Overall home is where you love, it's where you're happy. It's not always in a house: it could be your grandparents house or even the park, it could be the beach or it could be the lake. Home is where you can lie down when you're tired. It's where you can rest when all the fun is done.
