Home is a Place to Feel Safe

Home would make you happy Home could make you sad This poem may be really sappy It could possibly make you mad But, a house is not a home A home is not a house A house does not have a garden gnome In a home, you might have a pet, maybe even a mouse In a home, you have made countless memories In a house, you’ve never spilled countless flurries A home is your own A house isn’t your own tombstone In a home, you have a warm fireplace But most importantly, home is a place to feel safe
