What Home Means to Me

What are some things that make your house feel like home? Different people think of home in different ways. Three things that make my home a home are love, safety/security and food. The first thing that makes my house feel like a home is love. Without love your home would just feel like a house. Love isn't just hugs and kisses, someone who you love is someone who you can trust and is always there for you. These are some ways that love makes my house feel like a home. The second thing that makes my house feel like a home is safety and security. Me and my family make sure all our doors are always locked. Whenever I'm with my family I feel safe and know that they will have my back. Cameras make sure that the outside of my home is safe and that nothing gets in. That's how me and my family make my home feel safe. The last thing that makes my house feel like a home is food. My parents always make sure that we have healthy and good food because it is important for your health. My family is lucky that we can afford enough food for every meal and every one. Sometimes food isn't just eating, it can also be spending time with family. Those are some ways that food makes my house feel like a home.
