Home is Home

Home is a place where I belong. I feel safe when I’m at home. Home isn’t just a place. Home is where you build memories. Going to baseball with my Mom. Going to exercise with my Dad. Also playing with my siblings and dogs in my backyard. Home shouldn't be a place you're afraid of. Home should be a place where you feel safe and free. At home there is love, laughter and hope. To make home you need me. Hot chocolate is what reminds me of home. Warm and gentle. Home can be the same. It can come in many different sizes and colors. You could have a house or an apartment. Mine can be green and yours can be white. Hot chocolate is a comforting feeling, like watching a movie with my family with a big bowl of popcorn and a cup of hot chocolate. I am always home.
