A House Is… A Home Is…

A house is a cold building of bricks and stone, A home is a place where we’re never alone. A home is where we laugh and play, Instead of being sad all day. A home is where I have my brother, Mom, Dad, Guardian or other. What my home means to me, Is kindness and security. A home is a place of love and trust. With Habitat For Humanity it’s that or bust. They build us homes in which to reside, And we make them homes in which to abide! What home means to me: A place of happiness and safety.
