There's No Place Like Home

Home is a place where I feel safe and loved. When I think of the word house I think of 4 walls and a roof. When I think of the word home, I think of family. Home is where I get plenty of hugs and kisses daily. It's the sound of my moms favourite song, and my dad telling silly jokes. Home is the taste of my favourite meal that my mom makes, and the smell of that meal coming from my bedroom. When I look around my home I see me and my family around the living room warm and cozy talking about their day. I am so thankful for a family who loves me and can let me act as myself with no judgments. I am very thankful for habitat for humanity for building homes so the less fortunate people can have a home like me. I pray for all people who do not have a home like me.
