The Meaning of Home…

Home is a safe place to talk and laugh. Home is where you bake cookies or a cake with your family. When you wake up on Christmas morning and wake up your parents, you check if Santa ate the cookies you baked. You sit on the fuzzy rug opening presents for many more Christmases to come. It’s bedtime at home. You go down to your bed for mom and dad to tuck you in. Home is the place to feel all emotions and be yourself! In your home you come home excited to give your parents something you made at school. Home is a place to feel relaxed and calm. You're at home helping mom for Thanksgiving before you eat the turkey you say what you're thankful for. You get to watch a movie with your family and you get to choose the movie and snacks you choose the black panther and popcorn. Homes are warm and happy places. Homes are loving. It's a place where you may read a book and the author inspires you to be yourself and not be afraid to do something. Homes are places to go to bed and not be afraid of bombs dropping and you don’t have to run away. No matter what happens. Home will always be home.
