The Meaning of Home

Home is a place where you leave your belongings. Home is a place where you can sleep in a bed. Home is where a family sits, eats, and laughs around the dinner table. I hear dogs named Bex, Nova and Peach barking at people who pass by the house. I smell my grandma cooking dinner (I hope it’s Shepherd’s Pie!) I see my family watching hockey, football, baseball and tennis on TV. I taste fresh-baked cookies if Grandma brings some back from her work. I feel the tongues of the dogs licking my face. Home is full of memories. Home is full of love. Home is a place where you feel at home.
