No Place Like Home
Home to me is more than it seems,
You play, you laugh and you love to beam
Be you whenever you want,
Because evil nightmares will never haunt here.
Home is a place you make and keep memories,
Family pictures and family dinners.
The beautiful, sweet scent of love,
Fits in your heart like a perfect glove
Within your home you hold friends,
Loving and caring, like a soft bed.
Your friends are very, very rare,
At the right time, they will always be there.
Home is where dreams start,
If you have thought out deep in your heart.
You’ll grow it big and make it come true,
When you hold it, theres no need to grue.
Hope is everywhere in my home,
There’s no need to feel like a mome.
You want your wishes to come alive,
Maybe it’s bigger within your hive
You hate your day but it’s alright,
Just dive in a book and take a long flight.
Stress of the day will slither away,
So you can do your thing in your own way.
Recharging is what happens at home,
You can run and jump or write a poem.
Come home to your room all clean,
Like how the grass is all green.
Culture is what people have at home,
What you and your family have always known.
You’re happy, you’re joyful, and you always have family,
So, say thank you to them… thankfully.
