Meaning of Home

When you hear the word “home” what do you think of? I would think of my house. Others might think of their apartment or side by side. Home could even be your country. When I think of home, I think of what I would maybe smell. Maybe crispy, oily bacon. Maybe warm, melted chocolate chip cookies. Those are some examples of what you would smell or taste in my home. Maybe you can relate or maybe you’re the complete opposite. When I think of home, I think of what I would see. Maybe you have a T.V. Or even two! Something I love to see is new groceries. I love snacking and I have a sweet tooth. So, when I see my dad bought candy or chocolate it’ll be my breakfast, lunch and dinner from now on. Now, I will talk about what you would taste in my home. Sometimes we eat a traditional Filipino food called “Adobo”. Adobo is chicken wings served in a sweet and saucy soup and rice. It’s amazing. Now, for how I feel in my home. I feel very safe and comfortable in my home especially in my room. That is my story about my home and what home means to me.
