What home means to me
Home is more than just a physical space, it is a place where I feel safe, loved, and at peace. It is where I can be my true self without any fear or judgment. Home is where I have created precious memories and shared special moments with my loved ones, such as playing board games and cards. It is a haven that provides me with comfort and shelter from the chaos of the outside world.
Most importantly, I can find my family at home. My mom cooks bacon for dinner, while me and my brother tease each other and play around, and my dad fixes anything that is broken around the house. Overall, I am extremely grateful for having a roof I can sleep under, having walls to protect me from the wrath of nature and harsh weather and most importantly having a family to care for me. Home will always be filled with warmth and love. It will always be the place I cherish the most. I am sad that many other families and children don't have a place to call home, which is why I thank Habitat for giving homes to people who need it the most.
