A Trip to Italy
My home in Italy is amazing. It's filled with laughter and joy and pasta. First, I will talk about the people in Italy. I will talk about my nonnina. My nonnina is the best. She cooks me whatever I want. Sometimes she yells, not at me but at other family members. One of my memories with her was at my cousin's wedding. We were dancing our butts off! Next, I will talk about my Zia M. She is amazing and so kind. She buys me toys and if I am lucky, we go to the ice cream shop with her dog Joey. Some of my favorite flavors are mango and nucciola. Now I will talk about my cousin's wedding. It was amazing. I was the flower girl. The after party was in a giant wine cellar. There was a D.J and snacks. I stayed up until 5 a.m. plus stopping at McDonald's, plus eating, plus playing games. Next, I will talk about my birthday. My mom took me to a place called Latzisa. We stayed in an apartment and ate at a pizza place. The next day we went to a place called Gardaland. It’s an amusement park and I went on my first ever upside-down ride. It was epic! When I got back home, they had a cake for me. It was an ice cream cake with frozen strawberries on the side. I will now tell you about the time I went to the Children’s Museum. It’s rooms for each of the five senses. In the hearing room you can create your own music. In the sight room you can look through microscopes and there is a colorful wall. In the touch room there are blocks and you can build your own marble tracks. In the taste room there is a yummy café. I love Italy so much I wish I could live there forever!
