Home
Home is a place where you can be your true self, a place you’re not
changing for everyone else.
A place you feel protected, and mistakes are sometimes corrected.
A place where you are you, somewhere you can be true.
A place you can go to warm up, where you can drink hot chocolate in your signature
cup.
Home is filled with love and joy, where you can go and play with your favorite toy.
Home is somewhere you can rest from pain and go if it
may begin to rain.
Home is a place you can go to rest; on the couch you think is the best.
Home is a place everyone should afford, a place you can play with an
imaginary sword.
Home is where you hear a creak on the floor, and you think something is opening the door.
Home is where you’re safe with your family, somewhere you are very lively.
I’m grateful for Habitat for Humanity for building homes for the needy.
They have been helping many generations and are in many different
locations.
