Meaning of Home

Meaning of home. Home is just waiting for me right through the door. School was done for the day I opened the door and smelled dinner cooking in the kitchen the delicious smell cooked potatoes and beef. I flop on the couch as the sun rays beam through the window my cat Missy jumps on my lap and gives a soft purr before running off. I had food, cozy furniture, and light then the door opens my sister’s home Mila and I play UNO after I go read a book the dad yells “dinners ready”. When I finished eating, the evening was over, so I got ready for bed, brushed my teeth, and dove into my covers. Home is a home for hobbies, places to sleep, and safety but what home has most is compassion. My family is there, to help me, understand me, and love me. Truly there’s no other place better than home
