HOME IS A SPECIAL PLACE TO BE

When I come home from school the sweet smell of cookies fills my nose. Home is where I share my happiness with loved ones, its where I feel safe to be myself. Home is where I am supported most, its where I am valued most. Home to me is when my dogs snuggle up to me and I get lots of hugs. When I come home all the bad and negative feelings go away, it is so good to be home. I get memories most from my home from living free. Nothing can stop me. When its raining I watch the rain dribble down the window and my mom and I enjoy soup, it makes me feel loved and warm on rainy days. When I am sick my family takes care of me, they make me feel better, loved and cared for. When I go to the park with my sisters, they always hold my hand to keep me safe and when I am in the parking lot, they always hold my hand so they don’t lose me. On days when my sisters are sad, I always cheer them up. I don’t like when people are sad, so I make them feel better. When they are sick, I will make tea and make sure they take their medicine. I do it out of love. I want to tell my family how much it means to be loved and cared for. I will protect my family, when one goes, we all go down. Home is where I play with my little cousins. Home is a special place. I will always put myself first before my family. I will never let anyone hurt my family. I am so grateful.
