The Meaning of Home To me, is a place where you Are safe, every day It is full of life And laughter, echoing through The halls, joyfully A place where you dine, And drink, and sleep, and all that Can be done, for life And light, forevermore A place full of family And, sometimes, friends, too Where the rooms are filled With happy, joyful children And smiling parents Where memories are made Lives are lived very fully And all are in peace Where work can be done Vacations will leave the house Empty and silent When they return, the House will once again be full Of happiness and hope No matter the time Or weather, or the conditions The house will remain What it once was, and Hopefully, will be again Full of hope and life Home means many things to many people Hopefully, this place of life will never be null
