What is home to me?

Home is the base of my everyday life, it is the start and end of my day. To me, home is the feeling of love, laughter, comfort, happiness And sometimes sadness and anger But it is not just those feeling, that create home it is also the little things - Like a big hug from a special family member when you walk into the door, - A tasty dinner shared around the dinner table - Or crawling into a warm cozy bed after a long day. Home is the tiny details like seeing your dog chasing leaves in your backyard, Cooking a family recipe that has been passed on from generation to generation, That particular smell each home has or hearing a family member play the piano because it is so delightful. It is all about those memorable things we do as a family. It is all about being together And sharing laughs and tears with the ones you love. A home can be big or small But no matter the size It is a place where someone feels safe and loved. A place where someone is comfortable and feels support From the one they love.
