Meaning of Home

My home isn't peaceful but it isn't violent either. My home sounds like me and my sister fighting. It sounds like my dog barking at another dog that he sees from the window in my living room. My home smells of fresh baked goods made by my mom. It smells like my mom’s candle or my dad’s bacon when dad makes scramble eggs & bacon. Yum! My home tastes like delicious food made by family and friends. My home feels warm like a freshly baked cookie. It feels chaotic like a large herd of elephants frolicking around. It also feels cozy like a crackling fireplace and a soft fuzzy blanket to curl up into. It’s safe from the bricks built to protect and also friends and family to give comfort and support. I love my family and friends and they love me too. I hope one day everyone can be as lucky as me and have a home too. So they can make memories and celebrate birthdays and BIG or small achievements. Photos hanging on the walls to remember memories. Home is all so to make memories. I love my home.
