Home is a place where I can be free like an eagle Home smells like fresh muffins of all kinds Home feels like I can be myself Home sounds like the radio waking me each morning Home is like a protective shield from all hard feelings Home is my happy place Home feels like having two breakfasts One when I get up and one when my mom and dad get up Home is building forts outside all day with my imagination Every day on the bus home, I think of opening the door and hearing dad ask, how was your day? And my dog jumping up to give me a hug My dad giving me a big hug Home is mom cheering me on at the indoor pool I love my home so much but my family is the best part.
