Home

What my home means to me is a nice place to relax and loosen up after a long hard day. Home is the place where you can go in through the front door and get a nice big aroma of cookies cooling on the top of the big slick stovetop and hear music playing in the background. My room means reading and watching the sunset with a winter breeze blowing through the window and some hot chocolate and marshmallows, [not too many!]. And waking up to one of my cats licking my face then going downstairs to eat and see my family and spend a full day together. Also, there are those weekends that are filled with laughter and tacos or just watching tv or a movie on my big screen in the basement. Home is special to me and is irreplaceable to me and my family. Home means that every bad thing that worries me can wait at the front door while I'm having fun with the people that mean the most to me. That is my meaning of home and Habitat for Humanity is helping people have stories to write and tell just like me.
