The Place of Peace

Home to me is a place of laughter. Home to me is a place where I can enjoy the smiles of my family. Home is a place of happiness and courage. To me home is a place with family and friends because without them it wouldn't be called a home. For me the peace in my home is different than peace outside of my home. Home is my happy place, where I don't have to worry about anything, a place to relax. A time when I come home from school and enjoy the delicious taste of my dad’s famous chicken curry, a time to play with my sister and laugh. To have sleepovers with my friends and where all my dreams and memories occur! Where I can get help from my parents and siblings and feel alright without having to worry about any dangers because I am protected in my house. It’s where I feel the soft touch of my bouncy bed. My room where all my emotions come out, my room where I have all the fun. My basement is where I played with my brothers, where we played too rough, and we both got hurt and laughed it off. My home is the place where I made the biggest mess, and it took me one hour to clean up. Home is a home not a house!
