Home is More Than a Building

My acrostic poem is about what a home is made of, and my short story is about what MY home is like. Heartfelt conversations. Original recipes made by my mom. My spot to unwind and be loved. Everyone should be included in activities. My home could be just a big four-walled place, But it’s more than a building to me. My home is where I can feel safe and loved by my family and friends. Sometimes I get mad, but when I enter my room my hate and anger evaporate. Without my home, I don’t know how I would survive. My house holds everything I hold dear. I would be completely lost in life without my house. I have a cottage too. It’s my home as well. I love to fish and sleep there. When I’m at home, I feel happy, appreciated, supported, and important. That’s all I have to say about the subject of home. I appreciate what Habitat for Humanity Canada does for all the people in need in Canada.
