Home's the only place where I can be alone and be the true ruler of my adorable kingdom of plushies. Home's the only place where my mom tells me funny stories from when she was my age, stories of bagels down the toilet, and the whole blocks of butter with bite marks, hidden behind the couch. Home's the only place where my dad and I can watch ALIEN together and eat ice cream, without my mom knowing. Home's the only place where I can play Animal Crossing, New Horizons, Zelda Breath of the Wild, and Pikmin 4 before my siblings can get the Switch. Home's the only place where on Christmas Eve my dad makes fondue for dinner, and I always only eat the bread. I hope with this writing, people without homes can get homes. <3
