My Welcoming Home

Home is where the heart is, they say. Home is where MY heart is. It's where I can come home from a long day at school and just lay down in my bed waiting for dinner.     It is where I can go to the kitchen for dinner and see food ready to be put on a plate. An example of home is my dog looking up at me for food with classic puppy dog eyes, waiting to eat all of the scraps. Home is where my dog barks at the mail man trying to keep me and my family safe.     It's where I can go, to talk about a long day to my mom, or even just hug my siblings. That’s what siblings are for! Home is where I can cuddle up on the couch to watch a movie and forget all about my stressful day at school. That’s what home is for!
