Home to Me
Home is not just walls and floors.
It’s a helping hand with open doors.
Sometimes home can be stressful.
But if you ask your family they will be helpful.
My home feels safe, cozy, warm, and loving.
When I’m back from dance, dinner is coming.
Some days it is soup, salad, chicken, or rice.
Curry, lasagna, all food is nice.
Me and my brother have lots of fun.
Home is a place where we play and run.
Falling asleep in my warm cozy bed,
Knowing I have a roof over my head.
When I go into my home all I feel is love.
I don’t care about the things around or above.
When I look at my family what I see is the love I have for them
And the love they have for me.
Habitat for Humanity gives homes to those in need,
Which is a really good deed.
All of this is home to me.
Without my home I don’t know who I would be!
