What Makes My Home Special

In my home, lives a family, with music always playing in the background, the delicious smell of the food my mom makes, and me and my dad watching hockey. In my home, I can sleep in my own cozy bed, in my room with my dog curled up with me. In my home, you can hear the laughter of me, my mom, and dad playing a game and me winning. In my home, I can walk around in my pajamas all day if I want and nobody would say anything because it's my home. In my home, I love late night movies with my mom and dad eating popcorn with my dogs curled up at my feet . My home is special because of the warm summer nights when I can sit on the porch and feel the cool breeze, or on a cold winter night curling up with some hot chocolate. My home is special to me because I know that I am always honoured, cherished, and protected. These are just some of the reasons why I love my home. That's why Habitat for Humanity helps build homes for people, so they can love their home just like me.
