What Home Means to Me

My home is part of my identity, where I can be whoever I want to be. Home isn’t just a house, it’s a feeling you get when you feel safe, loved, and comfortable. It is a place where I hear my family laughing at silly jokes, where joy and laughter evokes. Where I relive my sister’s first ever steps, where I listen to my favorite artist’s newest eps. I smell the sweet aroma of my grandma’s cooking. Home is where we find safety, comfort, laughter and peace. In my parents’ kind embrace, I find my peace. A vastness of love, where worries can cease.
