The Meaning of Home

Home is more than a place. It's where my family is. Home is a safe place where I always want to be, with the people who love me the most and I can count on. Home is the smell of hot coffee and warm toast with butter. A place for real conversations, laughs, hugs and tears too. Home is where I can make mistakes and still be loved and accepted. Home is where I feel comfortable and free to say what's on my mind. A place where my family waits for me and cares to know about my ups and downs. Home is the only place I know and can trust. Home is where I can be myself. Home is where my heart is, no matter where I am. A place to always remember. My family is my home.
