Home to Me
Home is where you should be safe with one or two loving parents beside you. They support you all through your life and help you with the choices you make. I'm an indigenous girl from Kikino in Alberta, but I have grown up in Edmonton. My great gokkum went to residential school and didn't have a home to feel safe in or have parents to love her. This made her feel sad and hopeless. Without a home to live in you would feel like a ship without a sail. Home is a place where you should alway have good food in your belly, dress in your own style and not have to cut your hair. Home is not a home without love.
