Meaning of Home

Home is a place where you can be with family and friends. Eating warm Thanksgiving dinners together, opening presents on Christmas day around the tree, playing Super Mario as a family, camping on a warm summer day and making Gueeso in a cast iron pot over the fire in our backyard. Home is a place where you come home from school and smell food cooking in the oven. Home smells like warm borscht cooking on the stove. Home feels like fishing on a calm lake in the evening as the sun is setting and in the morning with the sunrise. Home feels like my rod bending from a big fish. I love fishing with my family and friends. Pinawa is my favorite fishing spot. I am thankful for the gift of home. What does home feel like for you?
