My special home
To me, Home is a place where I live. It’s a place I feel safe and protected. A place I can relax in peace and quiet. A place I have privacy and a place I can be myself.
Home is a place I can celebrate. Opening gifts at Christmas, receiving candy at Halloween and eating a big feast with my family on Chinese New Year.
Home is a place where I feel warm and cozy. Under a blanket on my bed with some stuffed animals to keep me company. It’s a place where I think about what happened today and a place to start the next day.
Home is where I face my fears. It’s a place where I see scary things and get scared, but also a place I will face my fears. At day or night I won’t get scared.
Home is a place where my backyard is. It’s not just filled with plants and trees, but it’s filled with company. It’s where animals come and go. It’s a place where the plants will grow.
Home is where my family is. Where my Mom, Dad, Sisters, Grandpa and Grandma are. It’s where my sisters talk, play and sing, where my Dad and Mom teach me more every day, where my grandma cooks food for the family and where my grandpa plays table tennis with me.
To me, Home is where I want to be, and I want to be with my family.
