What is Home?

Home is a place for everyone, friends, pets and you! Home is where all your senses come to life. I see home as a wonderful place. Home is a place to live. In my home, I see hardworking family members working together. Home is also a place where traditions and celebrations happen and when family and friends come along. At home, I feel happiness and joy. I feel loved by my family, friends and even pets. I feel peace and calm. I feel my dad’s warm touch as he’s guiding through life’s adventures. At home, I smell freshly made chicken and I smell my mom’s beautiful flower smell and my dad’s coffee in the morning as he’s about to experience a hard day. I smell my brother's spicy breath and I smell dirty clothes falling downstairs. At home, I hear my brother’s joyful shriek while playing together. I hear my father’s laughter as a funny thing happened. I hear bubbles sizzling from my mom’s cooking. At home, I taste love from my family. I taste freshly made breakfast, lunch and dinner. I taste hair flying everywhere and I also taste my favourite food. Home isn’t just a house, but it’s where you express your feelings to your loved ones. Also, there’s one more room for you.
