A Home is Not a House
A house can be grand, with walls painted or bare
But a home has warmth, that lingers in the air
A house has four corners, a roof, and a door
But a home has love, that can't be bought at a store
A house is just a building, with rooms and stairs
But a home is where memories, are made and shared
A house may have furniture, shiny and neat
But a home has laughter, and a heart that beats
A house can be big, with space to roam
But a home is where you feel truly known
A house can be cold, when you're all alone
But a home is a haven, a place to call your own
A house is a structure, made of bricks and stone
But a home is a feeling, that can't be shown
A house may have a yard, with trees and grass
But a home has love, that will forever last
A house may have a fancy design,
But a home is where true beauty shines,
With laughter, joy, and comfort too,
It's where you can truly be you.
