What Home Means to Me

When I think of the word home, I think of my friends and family gathering around the fireplace to have a good time. Like sipping hot chocolate after a cold winter day with your family. Home is a place where good memories are made. We might watch a movie together. Or a football game. I can remember my cozy bed as my parents tuck me in. Or when my grandparents visit and make me freshly baked cookies that smell like chocolatey goodness. I can also remember all my stuffed animals when I cuddle with them in my warm cozy bed. Or when I look out the window and see all kinds of animals like deer and bluejays. Or my dog I loved throwing the ball with her in my backyard whenever I felt down my dog would cuddle up with me. I also love the smell of my hot dinner after a long tiring day at school. Or my younger brother who cares for me we could play outside until we drop. The next thing I will tell you about is my loving mom who deserves more credit. She would make me my favorite supper and love me for as long as I live. But if I'm going to talk about my mom I need to talk about my dad even though he's kinda tough on me sometimes it's to make me a better person without him I don't know what I would be doing right now. So overall I'm very thankful for my home and I hope I can make even better memories in the future.
