What Makes My Home A Home

What makes my home a home is that it's a safe place for me and my whole family. My home is my home because my family and pets are there with me and for me. My home is my home not because I have stuff or toys, it's my home because of the people inside the home and the feelings and the emotions. But there is more to it than that, my home is home because my cat Abby, is always there when my soul just feels horrid or mad or all at once. And when Abby is not there I just look around me and see what I have and who. Because I know there are some people that don’t have anything I have like food, clean safe water to drink, a place to call home. All of those things some people don’t have. Everyone deserves to know that they're safe and that they can fend for themselves. I am lucky to have everything I do have, I have food, water that's safe to drink, A roof over my head walls to protect me from strong wind and rain. A home is what I have and some of you who are reading this might not have any of those things. And I know that it's sad and people need all the help they can get. That is why this contest is happening to help people in need of everything. I don’t want to win for the glory or the iPad I want to win to help people. $10 to someone will help. That is why I’m doing this. To help many, many people some day.
