Homelessness is becoming even worse in Canada. There are over 176,000-188,000 people in Canada on any given night that are homeless. (Jan 5, 2024) These times are so sad. Fun Fact I bet you are sheltered while you were reading this, I was sheltered writing this. What can we do about this increasing problem? We can donate to homeless shelters to try and house our people and our problem. But these days housing is getting more expensive EVERY DAY like 790k$ for a home?!?!?! That's crazy… My dream is to help EVERY homeless person to have a home. Home is an important place where we can feel sheltered from everything, loved and cared for by my family in my shelter. I feel very grateful for a shelter where I can go if I'm feeling sad. My dad might be working but that's just to afford a home and food. My family plays with me whenever I'm bored and we have fun and entertain each other. My parents help feed me and got me a amazing bed to sleep and a great pair of glasses. While you were reading this 19-20 people became homeless and 5-10 people got a shelter or a place to call home. Remember those numbers earlier, well it's gotten worse. Now it's 235,000. Almost .25x worse, or a 1/4! I’m very lucky to have a place to call home, if you also have a place to call home you’re very lucky! Hope you enjoyed!
