The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home Our planet is truly diverse and beautiful. But, unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to live in a place that we call home. Home is a multi-valued word… Home is the place where you are born, grew up, and developed as a person. This is the place where your family and friends are. These are the streets where you walk with friends and know all the neighbors. This is the school where you studied and received your first grades. It’s the air that smells special and you feel safe and comfortable. I lost my home after leaving Ukraine and still miss it very much. But I was lucky to get to the community of Fall River, where wonderful people live. We hope that we will be able to build our new home on a small brick here. My parents found a job, my younger sister and I started school, and we meet new people, learn English and Canadian traditions. We have the best Landlords in the world who help us a lot. There is a wonderful school here, with kind and funny teachers. There is an amazing and vast nature here, which you want to look at with a bated breath. I really want every person to feel that they are at home and that all of us, regardless of where we live, appreciate and protect our planet as home. Name: Yehor
