Meaning of Home

Do you know the difference between a house and a home? Merriam-websters dictionary says a house is to provide shelter and a home is one's residence. In my opinion the difference from a house and a home is a home has family, memories, and it's where you live. Next, I'm going to talk about family. I have a nice, fun family. My family makes my house a home because they make it not feel lonely. An example is when I was home alone, and I felt lonely when my family came home, I felt happy. A second reason is they make my home fun. For example, when I don't know what to do my family plays with me. The last reason is they make it cozy. For example, my family doesn't bother me when I want to relax. That's about my family. Soon I'm going to talk about memories. I have a few memories in my home. One memory I had was when I fractured my arm. It was a bad memory because it really hurt. A second memory was Christmas. It was a good memory because I got to open a lot of presents. A last memory was Easter it was good because I got a skateboard. As you can see, I have good and bad memories. Next were going to talk about what is special. Three things that are special about my home is it's clean, big, and fun. My home is clean because my mom likes to clean. It's big because it has three stories my home is fun because my family plays with me. That was a few things that are special about my home. I think everybody should have a home. I think everybody should have a home because everybody needs a place to live. I’m thankful for my clean, big, and fun home because my mom and dad got it for me. As you can see, I really like my home. I hope this essay will help someone who doesn't have a home get a home.
