How Home Feels To Me.

How Home Feels To Me Home, from the second I wake up to the second I fall asleep, I feel like I’m at home. Home feels like a big hug from somebody that cares for you, someone that makes food for you, someone that loves you no matter what and someone that you can trust, like family. Everyone in your family loves you, and they choose to do that but the moment they stop loving and caring for you, home might not feel the same anymore. but sometimes, you lose your home in a fire maybe, but you don’t need a house to make a home because home is more of a feeling instead of a place. To me, home reminds me of making pancakes in the kitchen with my Mom or making banana bread! Or the smell of scented candles that we light up during power outages and when we all cuddle up on the couch and have family talk! They all smell so good! Home is ordering food from someplace like McDonalds, we always go to my mom and dads room and have what they like to call “family meetings” and sometimes we just go to their room to chill. I like to hang out with my sister in our shared bedroom. Home is my cat Cleo and my dog Betsy! It doesn’t matter if you have a house, what matters is if you have a home.
