Meaning Of Home

My house is a home because the tap is running and the laundry is cleaned. My house is a home because I can relax on the most comfortable couch and sleep in my bed. I can wear the nicest clothes and be comfortable and safe. I can sit at the dinner table and eat. My house is a home because I can go outside and throw a football. I love getting the feeling of my parents arriving home. On a rainy day, we can watch a movie and relax. Sometimes, I can come home with my parents waiting and the first thing they ask is “How is your day?”. Sometimes when my parents are home, I always smell that delicious food, and sometimes I try to guess what it is. Every room and closet, the memories in each item is very special. Every holiday, we gather around and open presents and be extremely happy. During the summer, we can jump in the pool. On Sundays my dad and I can watch NFL games. This was the first home I remembered, when I learned how to walk and talk. Writing this made me feel a lot more grateful that I have a home and a nice family.
