The Meaning of Home

To me, home means family and somewhere safe. I know that when I am at home it is a place where I will not be judged. I love coming home from school to see my mom, dad, stepmom and my animals. I love talking with my family. I adore the smell of food when I’m relaxing. Home means love and being able to do anything. Home is my happy place and always will be. Home is a place where I can come home and sigh. Home is a place where I can recognize a familiar smell. On Monday nights at my dad's house, I can taste quesadillas. I can taste the misty air in my backyard on rainy days. I can see a bunch of familiar trees from my childhood in my yard. Home is a place I can spot from a million miles away, it’s a place I can remember in my heart forever and ever. I love going home and cuddling with my animals. I love it when my family comes over for dinner or we go to their house. I love home.
