Meaning of Home

My name is Peyton McGinn. Home to me is feeling safe. When I'm not feeling safe I can always rely on my family to keep me safe. My dog also really comforts me. I don't like feeling like I don't belong. My family loves me and helps me not feel like I don't belong. Home is where you hide from the rain. Home is everlasting, did you know? It lasts from summer's sun to winter's snow. Home is also a happy place where you make good family memories, when you walk in your house you see family photos, and you know you are loved. Home is also where you get together with your family and watch family movies. Home is a safe place where you can always feel comforted with family, friends and pets. It also has different rooms for different meanings. For example, your bedroom is not just where you sleep, it's where you go and get your stress out and after sibling fighting you go hide from your siblings. In our home there are lots of little heads. There are also amazing parents that help with lots of things. I am so grateful to have my parents. Without my parents I wouldn't have my amazing home I have. In my home lots of family events happen. My home is very special because we have all of our toys and family members that live there. Home is where we're surrounded by love, where we are given a push and a shove. It's where were taught right from wrong, where we learn to be strong. Home is where my family is: my mom, dad, my sister and dog, where love is shared and bonds are big. Heres to the home that we hold dear.
