The meaning of home

Hello, my name is Quinn and today I'm going to share with you what home means to me. I will be talking about how everyone deserves and should get a safe and affordable house to live in. I will also be talking about how you should feel safe in your home. Finally before I get started you should also feel loved in your home. First of all, I think that everyone deserves a safe and affordable house to live in. the meaning of home, not house but home, means that you have family or guardians who care for you, who love you, who take care of you. But a house has wall’s, floors, roofs and stuff like that so you can know if you didn't already know that a house and a home are 2 completely different things. In your home for example you can feel happy. Perhaps there is a scent that reminds you of your home. There could also be an object that reminds you of your home for example when my dog died my friend brought my sister and I a dinosaur stuffed animal. My dinosaur stuffed animal is purple and my sister's dinosaur is blue. These remind me of home because when I think of home or my house I would think of my dog but now when I think about my house I think about my parents and sister. Every person deserves an accessible house that will fit every single person in the family. If you have someone in your family that is in a wheelchair every place in the house should be accessible because if they can’t reach or get access to their child's room than they can not say good night to their child when it is time to go to bed. Also they need to have access to food, water and everything else that they would need to survive. It would be the same if someone in your family broke their leg and had crutches. If the floor was wobbly or not stable they could not go on it. If you think about it, we need food and water to survive because everyone does. But my point is if they could not access something, someone would have to help them every time they needed something and I'm sure it would get very disturbing.. In conclusion, those are all of my reasons why I think that every person deserves a safe and affordable house. In this writing I have also explained what home means to me. Home means somewhere safe to live. It is also a place where people in your family care for you and love you alot. I hope that you understand what the meaning of home means to me. Thank you for taking the time to read what the meaning of home means to me.
