Meaning of Home

My home is a safe place. It is where I find comfort. It is calm and peaceful. It is the only shelter I have ever known. Since I was a baby, I have lived in this incredible home. The walls may have wear and tear, but I think that it is beautiful. Always beautiful. I admire my nest. I especially enjoy my room. It is horse themed, because I loklllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllve horses. My room is mine. All mine. I love it, just the way it is. My house is amazing! There is nowhere better. My is like a castle, protective and strong. At the same time it’s like a gentle cave, comfortable and welcoming. When I am in my nest, I know that I am safe and can let out my feelings. I just can’t do that anywhere but in this place of refuge. At my safe haven, with my family. I don’t care what other people think. That doesn't matter. What matters then, you might ask? What matters is that I am brave and persevere when circumstances are tough. And, at the end of a hard day, I can come home to my family. My safe, warm sanctuary. I am like a bird in Its nest when I am at home. In a habitat. A safe house. In that house I am blessed to have food, shelter, and water. We have nice landscape and a great community. Lots of the neighbors are good friends. There is a cool lake nearby t so that we go swimming in the summer and skating in the winter. I am so grateful for my place of refuge. Are you?
