What Home Means To Me

Home to me Does Not need to be made with nice walls, a fireplace or a T.V. A home can be made with sticks and mud Or in the cold and deep in the snow. A home can be as high as to touch the sky Or 20 stories down below. A home can be up on a hill Or where the Ocean is pretty wide. A home can be with a windmill above Or instead with a chimney on the side. A home can be with family and friends. Maybe your family’s love never ends. Home can be your country. Like when my relatives in Philippines play some games with me Home can sound like anything. My home sounds like talking, songs and laughter. My home smells like chicken sometimes. Although the rice we eat with it after a few days becomes rougher. After I wake up and I keep on yawning, So I go to the kitchen to have hot chocolate in the morning. But sometimes It’s so hot that I feel like it’s scorching. I feel lucky that I have a house. I hope Habitat for humanity can help other people to have a nice home. Maybe their kids can have fun and have a lot of space to roam. Habitat for humanity can just build a home that’s pretty simple. Still, that helps a lot of people!
