Meaning of Home

Home is a spot of comfort, a pinpointed spot to run to when distressed. Did you know that some people don’t even have a nice, warm, safe and loving nest to stay in? It is like a lion that has a secure den. A secure shelter to be happy in, and not worried. Relief is feeling loved and not scared. It is a shelter where you feel happy and loved. Luxury Feels good, like when you come back to your house and smell your mothers good cooking. This is a place where you feel loved and comforted. I feel reassurance when I cuddle up and snuggle with my mother. Do you feel reassurance when you snuggle with your mom? I feel like I'm at my belonging place when I’m with my family. I feel at ease with my family. Do you feel safe with your family? When I walk into my house after a trip away to Fairmont I feel extra because I smell the dusty familiar smell of my home. When you walk through your door after a trip do you feel like you are warmed? But, do you remember how people don’t all have those nice, warm, safe places? That's right some people don’t have homes!! We had better try to help but how can we help? I know we can, right in the meaning of home contest! Just by writing a little bit we can help build someone that safe place that we talked about!
